Artificial Intelligence Policy Statement

An Artificial Intelligence (AI) Policy Statement is documented in writing, updated and circulated in order to establish the reference framework applicable to the performance of AI-related functions and to the AI Management System itself.
The AI Policy Statement is appropriate to the company’s activity and attitude, and meets the requirements applicable to its development.
It will be reviewed continuously and on a planned basis for the continuous improvement of the system and of the company’s performance, adapting it at all times to the state of the company and its values.
The AI Policy Statement will be sent by email to employees for their information.
The purpose of this AI Policy is to manage AI correctly. It is the company’s policy to ensure that:
- Data used in AI systems is protected against losses of availability, quality, security and privacy, confidentiality and integrity.
- Traceability and accountability are maintained when carrying out actions supported by or based on AI systems.
- Employees have the skills and experience needed in AI-system management.
- AI systems are adequately maintained.
- Adequate AI performance is maintained in the use of data.
- Applicable legal requirements are met.
- Business requirements regarding AI are met.
- Procedures are established to comply with this Policy.
- The IMS is implemented, maintained, monitored and continually improved, and in particular the processes related to AI.
